In A Dream for Peace , Ghoulem Berrah tells his story from his university days to adulthood. He is accorded the title of "peacemaker" given his attempts to bring about peace in this world characterized by war and inhumanity. He told how he managed to wade through the marriage waters to where that boat sailed to ultimately. His acquaintance with the Algerian president was also something to look out for in the book. This is because he happens to spearhead the efforts aimed at bringing about real peace on various fronts in his capacity as assistant to the president.

I obviously liked the book since peace is a key concern. It therefore goes without saying that the book was professionally edited with little to no errors. The author places emphasis on the importance of education even amidst turmoil in a country. The author also portrays the effect that colonial powers had on their subjects, and many people lost their lives to the same course. The book is also inspirational since the author's background isn't very interesting, but he happens to have shaped his fortune quite well thanks to the education he and his parents invested in.

I liked how the author made it quite clear that peace transcends all walks of life since not only Christians, Buddhists, or Asians want peace; it's everyone's wish, and I even suppose it's terrorists' wish ultimately. The book is riddled with a plethora of French terminologies at the same time, which honestly can burden a reader. The book has a good number of pictures that the author might have really wanted to use to connect intimately with his audience.

The book also has a touch of religion, as the author made some advances in bringing about peace by quelling religious misunderstanding. I also credit the same for the professional editing. Ghoulem Berrah also used a great technique of documenting everything in terms of chapters, although the spacing and font he used were a bit challenging to decipher, and I disliked that aspect of the book.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars first for being a book that is out to extinguish the spirit of war and instability by sharing ideas that can help in achieving not only peace but everlasting peace. I also liked the author's grammatical know-how. If the book lands in the hands of a young audience, we can expect it to help humanity transform the evil warring fate we are entangled in.
