Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Our kids and children have a unique natural power to give immense pleasure to our Mind. Their sweetness and innocence can make us forget, all the disturbances of life. And when a kid and a child in our family will become the messenger of God; our belief in God will be refreshed. The book Snatched Up to Heaven! by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul gives us, an opportunity to have above said experience . This story is narrated by authors in a devotional way. The whole story of a mother and her two daughters, is based on the faith and belief in God - ' simple trust and childlike faith.' Here,' The key is faith that does not always demand intellectual understanding.' Dreams and visions of girls, have been shown to become media to link God, Jesus and the heaven.
Priyanka aged 4 and Deepika aged 2, are the two daughters of authors Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul. Both the girls happen to have a miracle of being snatched to heaven by the angels. Their dreams and visions made this possible. They meet there, Jesus and the God both . They were allowed by Jesus to stay in the heaven for two days. On Priyanka's hard prayer, they were taken to the heaven many more times as they dreamed. In some dreams, God was carrying Deepika and Jesus was carrying Priyanka on their way there. In some other dreams, Jesus carried them with his hands—Priyanka in one hand and Deepika in the other. This journey was up beyond the clouds and with a push of wind. They enjoyed the beauty of the heaven. A tall place with glowing rainbow around it, made up of gold with gold sparkles on the floor, silver windows, golden door with silver sparkles and gates of twelve pearls. They also saw streets of gold. They experienced only joy and happiness there, in all the activities of human life on the earth. They even worked in the Heaven. They met the people in the heaven. They lived and experienced the total life of the heaven - from food, bed, music and celebration of Christmas.
The positive aspects of the book are : It is their strong and true belief/faith, by which the authors have used dreams of their daughters to explore the glory of heaven. To share these experiences, in the form of a book in today's digital world/ robot world, is itself an appreciable work. The fact used here is that dreams can show you any event or scene which you are thinking constantly ! Authors who are very well immersed, in belief and faith in God , have stated logical conclusions of the vision of their daughters. The verses narrated from bible ( 'similar discoveries in the Bible ' ) are perfectly synchronised with the dreams and visions of Priyanka and they are very specifically related to the terms used by the girls. Authors are very straightforward and clear in expressing their views on the God and Jesus.
Some negative points I feel: The dreams and visions of girls are narrated in the book without mentioning the original events. This has made the book' dull '! Though the links to the relevant video clips shared on YouTube, are given at the end of the book, it would have been more effective and convenient for readers; had those been described in the book language. The mentioning of the difference in the Bible of heaven and the Bible of the earth, should have been avoided.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I appreciate the honesty, intimate desire of the author to make the readers aware of the importance of faith, devotion and belief in God. The editing of the book is better, though I found some confusing statements and rare errors.
I recommend this book to all the parents, senior persons and teenagers up to the age of fourteen years. All the other persons who have faith and belief in God, can also read and they will like this book.
