Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a fantastic book that helps readers get ready for retirement. The author, an entrepreneur who has also held executive positions in the financial services industry, shares the knowledge and experiences he has accumulated over the years. He stresses the significance of having a comprehensive retirement plan that goes beyond the typical savings and investment strategies that are well-liked by retirees. He offers market insights and advice that can help retirees not only increase their income, but also prevent boredom at home or from a routine daily schedule.
What I liked about the book is that the writing was excellent, the tone was informal and conversational, and the flow was seamless. The author's memories and stories help to make the subject more relatable and enjoyable. I liked how the explanations of financial theories and models were simplified so that they could be understood by everyone, while still offering valuable guidance on where to find trustworthy financial advisors and life insurance agents. It was amusing to observe the author's humor throughout the book. With some jokes thrown in, the story was greatly enhanced. I liked how some financial processes mentioned were explained without using technical terms.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book. It was well-written and informative to read. I am glad that I found such an insightful book. I appreciated how the author concluded this book by listing additional publications and online tools related to financial planning. The reader benefited because the author provided them information that he might not have included in his book. I liked the way the author used this book to impart knowledge. Many people don't know how to prepare for retirement. It was brilliant and educational of the author to compile educational materials into one book. It was incredible how the author used real-world examples to illustrate retirement planning strategies.
The numerous tests and questions shared at the book's conclusion were well-rounded, reflective, and interesting, so I liked them. To capture and hold readers' interest, descriptions are kept to a minimum. All of the book's few charts and tables were simple to read and comprehend. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I enjoyed this intriguing book. As a result, I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to people interested in planning their retirement and reconfiguring their lives.
