Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfiguration by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a book aimed at older adults or those close to retirement, it deals with different points related to the reconfiguration or planning of their lives, after leaving the working day.
For this book, the author outlines the steps to follow, from a simple and easy point of view, to verify whether or not it is a good option to obtain life insurance to ensure old age, although it is specifically aimed at a public of 40 or 50 years and older, it is a very good reading to learn, since the points covered are quite interesting and can be of great help both for a young audience and for an adult audience.
As positive aspects, I can highlight the reading itself, since all the content of the book is a complete guide for people entering retirement age, but not only that, there is also a comparison of different tools to use to discover what are the possible careers in which a particular individual (who takes the test) can perform or what is their vocation. In addition, there is also a search engine for possible jobs to perform, that was what caught my attention the most, it was my favorite part. It is worth noting that I did not get any errors throughout the reading.
Regarding the negative aspects, I can really only highlight one point, which for many may go unnoticed, and that is that some sources cited are Wikipedia, for academic and research purposes this source is not reliable enough, I recommend that, although the information is useful and correct, official research sources are cited.
The author recommends that its reading be taken by adults from the age of 40, I recommend it for an adult public in general, who appreciates the research topics dictated by the professionals themselves in the area, and who value information that can be beneficial for all. People who are uncomfortable with readings that involve research and statistics should refrain from reading this book.
Finally, I can say that I enjoyed reading, the information provided is very valuable and is written in a practical and easy to understand way. In addition, the author manages to get smiles with his jokes consistent with the theme and makes everything develop more smoothly, due to all these reasons I rate this book with 4 out of 5 stars , without a doubt I would like to read more content from the author.
