Review of Winning the War on Cancer
Conventional cancer treatments are nowadays too expensive with the cost of drugs, therapies (radio and chemo), surgery, and many other miscellaneous requirements shooting off the roof. Woe to you should you develop a tumor since you'll have to pay through the nose. However, nature has always been kind. Dr. Sylvie Beljanski's dad, Mirko Beljanski, and his associates discovered Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria extracts could terminate cancer cells at the stem cell level.
These natural extracts have been tested multiple times and have proved to be effective and harmless as compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, they will be affordable if adopted into mainstream treatment since they can't be patented or monetized. This, according to Dr. Sylvie, is the hope we have of winning the war on cancer. In Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure by Sylvie Beljanski, the development of these natural remedies has been documented.
What I like about the book is how it brings out the effort of Sylvie and many others in fighting cancer. It is without a doubt that cancer has affected many families and claimed so many lives all over the world. Therefore, nothing gives so much hope than seeing how people like Sylvie and many others have buckled up to deal with this problem head-on. Reading the book, I gleamed at the thought that very soon people won't die anymore because of cancer. The way the book paints everything makes it all seem so real — the successful research that has been done and the successful curing of several people from cancer by these natural remedies make it all so promising. Indeed, this book packages the hope the world needs.
Sylvie did a good job making the book captivating. She writes in a light tone that takes away the technicality of what she's talking about from the book. This has been made possible by the personal experiences she includes and narrations from her own life. She tells us about her background, how she grew up, and how she eventually ended up spearheading research on natural alternatives to cancer treatment. You'll be surprised she practiced law at first and never even once thought she'll practice medicine like her father or grandfather. In the book, she explains why she ditched law to join her father in cancer research.
I can't mention any negative things about the book since I don't see any. I absolutely loved the book. I award it 5 out of 5 stars. I have no reasons to rate it lower. The book was also exceptionally well-edited. If you are curious about alternative cancer treatments and such topics, this book is a perfect choice.
