[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Bringing In Beauty" by Malcolm Pullen.]
Every day, new connections are formed. These associations can lead to short-term or long-term relationships. How much time, money, care, or love each person decides to invest in the relationship determines how long it will last. The truth is that we all want to be important in the relationships in which we are involved, just as flowers require water and sunlight to bloom. How much effort we put into relationships determines how successful they are.
Malcolm Pullen's book Bringing In Beauty begins with Malcolm Pullen, a 63-year-old man with a strong interest in rescuing stray dogs and cats, discussing a stray dog discovered by their mutual friend Cheryl and in need of foster care and adoption with his close friend Ute. This is the true story of how he struggled to bond with a stray dog named Beauty. Also, the efforts he made while trying to visit the dog for several months in order to form a long-term relationship with the dog. Did he succeed in his goal? Read the book to find out.
The author's description of the incredible bonding experience between a man and a dog made the book incredibly inspirational, and I love that. I like Malcolm's tenacity in his efforts to find and save the stray dog. Malcolm had an incident that would change his life as he used the chance to think about himself while caring for Beauty.
The value of love and care in fostering relationships was one of the lessons I learned. Even though Beauty was a dog, Malcolm was courteous and careful to respect her decision and ensure that he didn't push or coerce her. As a result, I was motivated to put forth more effort to forge meaningful connections with those around me. This book also taught me the importance of having a thought process, reflecting on your actions frequently, and keeping track of the interactions between your ego and mind in order to maintain a good balance between following your interests and acting morally.
Unfortunately, I won't say I completely enjoyed the book. The book should not have been this long. In this book, the author placed too much emphasis on a few irrelevant things, including the necessity to describe in great detail each time he went to see Beauty. Because of this, reading the book was tedious and dull. Some scenes should have been condensed. A reader's curiosity about whether the protagonist was successful in his quest was the only thing that could hold their attention during some dull pages.
Because of the aforementioned factors, I rate the book three out of five stars. I won't forget to compliment the author and editor on a job well done. No errors were discovered in the book, which indicates excellent editing. I also want to emphasize that the content can be improved to make it more engaging for readers. I recommend this book to animal lovers and to others who are interested in getting more knowledge about animal love and care.
