Seeking… Finding… Healing… by Becky Lu Jackson is a self-healing manuscript that talks about the journey toward self-directed Inner Family Healing. It adopts an Inner Family Healing model that the author uses to describe her experience. This guidebook serves as a visualization guide tool. It follows a step-by-step approach that helps to create a stabilized connection with your inner family. The author goes through an in-depth analysis to provide meaningful conclusions for beneficial purposes.

“God” here is used to describe a universal metaphor – discrediting any religious dogma. The author begins by mentioning that healing is an ongoing process that helps us balance our emotional, mental, and spiritual states. She addresses how she managed to heal through damaging addictions by creating awareness of her historical pain. The author emphasizes the need to live and think differently.

The concept itself is limited to visualization techniques that involve adjusting behavioral patterns. Other than that, I do not have any negative opinions about this book. Regardless, I cannot understate how the author interprets the concept of transformation. The information contained in this book may act as a foundation for the path to self-actualization. Meditation is one of the key aspects that’s emphasized a lot. To add, she also shares her most profound secrets on how to develop a self-care routine. In turn, this helps to create additional benefits for building a stable foundation.

Overall, I rate this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The insights shared are wonderful as they undertake a holistic approach. There isn’t a single error in this book, meaning it was exceptionally well-edited. The author also shares ways in which writing journals can have a meaningful impact on the healing process. I find this content to be relevant since it outlines the value of growth by reflecting on past experiences.

I’d recommend this book to readers who are trying to recover from a traumatic experience. Or simply, those who wish to improve various aspects of life. These may relate to emotional, social, or even economic problems. This book is educational in some sense. It undertakes the form of a therapeutic approach. Whilst the author mostly talks about her personal experiences to relate to the context, I feel like it resonates with all readers who seek guidance from healing and recovery. On an end note, it can also act as a tool for manifesting the path to self-actualization.
