Growing up, I have heard a lot about various warlords and men who have instigated so much violence in different parts of the world. Unfortunately, this is my first encounter with Dr. Ghoulem Berah. After reading this book, I was so heartbroken, and a lot of questions stirred up within me. We do too little to celebrate the lives of those who advocated and fought for peace. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's life is a huge inspiration to me, and he has immortalized his name in the hearts of the younger generations to come. A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a book you won't want to miss.

Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in Ain Beida, a small town in northeastern Algeria. In this book, he describes his place of origin and his family. His father, Hamadi Berrah, was a jeweler, and his mother was from La Meskiana, in the easternmost part of Algeria. The early chapters of this book discuss Dr. Berrah's early school days, his faith, and some traditions prominent in his place of origin. The book gradually progressed, giving us a view of what life was like in Algeria under the oppression of the French colonizers. Dr. Berrah rose above all odds to fight for the independence, freedom, and peace of his people. It is well known that no fight comes without a price. Read this book to learn more about the passion, bravery, and struggles of Dr. Berrrah and other exceptional men and women.

There is so much to love about this book. I loved the author's writing ability. There was something peculiar about his writing that made this book very emotional. Maybe this was so because I am a proud African who is saddened by the lack of peace in my nation. The authors' struggles and accomplishments are evidence that peace can be achieved in any nation. This book would serve as a wakeup call to those young minds who have given up on world peace to pick up where heroes like Dr. Berrah left off. The organization of this book is highly commendable.

I felt the relationship between the author and his mom was too good to be true. This book was well edited. I found no errors in it. I love the pictures the author included in this book. It demonstrated that the majority of this book's content was based on true-life events.

This book was amazing. I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all lovers of biographies and nonfiction books. This book would also be suitable for those who desire world peace.
