According to the economic principle, human beings have endless needs but limited resources. Therefore, it is paramount that one understands his finances and the management of his resources so that one does not run into financial drought in the future. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book that provides priceless information on retirement planning, financial planning and insurance.

The book is divided into thirteen educative chapters. Each chapter tackles a unique financial aspect. E. Alan Fleischauer is a financial advisor with up to 20 years of experience. This book is aptly named; it is about reconfiguring your life at any stage and planning ahead. It emphasizes on planning for the future. The book offers many tips and techniques on how to begin planning for retirement. Some areas explained in this book are income protection, software for financial planning, insurance, social security and many more. The author provides a Career Aptitude Assessment that can also be found on the internet.

I liked everything about the book. I enjoyed the author's sense of humor (keeping in mind that it is not easy to blend humor with a financial topic). His wealth of knowledge was evident in every chapter of the book. I thoroughly appreciate the way complex financial terms were broken down into simpler words, otherwise it would have been very cumbersome for the reader and the essence of the book would have been lost to readers who are not conversant with financial terms. I also liked the conversational tone he employed in the book; it made me feel like he was talking to me directly. He also recommended materials the readers might find helpful.

There was nothing to dislike about this material. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer has quickly become my favorite book. I have no complaints about this masterpiece. The book has no negative aspects. It was well written and professionally edited. However, I found a minor grammatical error on page 20 in chapter 2 of the book. This whit error does not affect the useful information contained in this book. Due to all these reasons, I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. The author deserves much kudos for this exceptional material.

I could not get enough of this book. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to readers seeking for information on retirement planning. Readers in their prime would also find this book to be very valuable.
