In this book, Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer unveils what the majority of career people neglect until very late in life - planning for their retirement. The pay check overshadows their after career reality. They even stick in a career they really do not love for fear of losing the pay check.

E. Alan Fleischauer unmasks the fears by plainly bringing to the fore the importance of planning for retirement. This planning includes everything through one's career life to the end of one's life. Thus, how you will take care of your bills, budgeting, insurance, travel, sports for you and or your grandchildren and whether you will engage in any business. This book is an eye opener to the career person to have fun before retirement but also to love their job.

Reconfigurement is a book that unearths many important factors that are not taken seriously let alone understood. To have fun in your career, love your work. Understand the benefits out of it. Know to what extent your career covers you and yours. Is your health covered? What if you suffer a disability at work, are you adquatly covered? In an event that you die, will your spouse and or children benefit anything? This book puts on the table these and more a career person needs to know and do in planning for retirement.

There are some documents and processes mentioned in the book that seem unnecessary. The author advises to seek professional advice so you may know what is best for you. You can also google these.

This is a must read book for every career person as well as none career person. As long as you are alive, you should focus ahead and plan. Decide how and where you will spend your retirement. Of the assets you must take care of, income is one of them. With all this valuable information, I rate this book 5 out of 5.

I recommend that from age 25 to 40 must read this book. Know who you are early enough in your career. This is very important. Most don't plan for retirement yet it is very important. Are you afraid of retirement? All you need to do is plan for it. And this book is what you need. Now you have a tool in your hands to help you set your future on a positive course.
