I had the pleasure of reading In It Together (2nd Edition Hardcover) By Eckhart Aurelius Hughes and it blew my mind. This book goes into many topics and elements of human life, the human experience, and human suffering while tying them together with one of the purest aspects of living. In It Together brings you into the depths of the author’s views of spirituality without forcing you to agree with their views.

This book is a work of art! I loved reading it. I was so enthralled by the book that I read the book in its entirety in one sitting. This book has everything going for it. It’s well-written, has a beautiful overarching theme, has a distinctive voice and tone, and isn’t hard to read. I liked the fact that I could read this book without feeling overwhelmed by information, demeaned, or not “spiritual enough”. This book is so palatable that I felt comfortable recommending this book to several people in my life that are of different religions, and ethnicities, and have different values and belief systems because of how this book approaches humans without uplifting or demeaning different belief systems.

I can say that for the first time in my life as an avid book reader, I have nothing negative to say. Usually, when I’m reading I make a mental note of everything that I like and dislike about the book, and for this book, I couldn’t come up with anything that I disliked about it. Maybe the only thing that frustrated me about this book is when it ended.

Because of the impeccable quality of In It Together, the beautiful yet humorous writing style, the comforting theme and nonjudgmental tone of this book, and the wonderful editing that made reading it a breeze I rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. I wish I could rate it even higher because of how much I genuinely love this book! I’ve become such a big fan of Eckhart Aurelius Hughes, and can not wait to read more of his books.

I recommend this book to everyone! Regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or gender, this book is for human beings and doesn’t have a barrier to entry. You don’t have to be a perfect person to read this book! I would say that this book embraces and celebrates the imperfections in all humans and doesn’t pretend to know the answers to everything. This book allows everyone to enjoy and express their humanity and learn about consciousness and conscious love and genuine unconditional love for humanity.
