Many people lack future plans, particularly plans after retirement. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book that explores how people can reconfigure their lives at any point.

The author instructs the readers in this book on how to have various retirement plans in the event of retirement. Being a financial advisor, the author did a great job of describing in depth why we should plan for the future and how to construct a plan that will be very effective. The book's thirteen chapters discuss personal finances and planning. Additionally, it implies that those who planned to fail are those who failed to plan. The book goes into great detail about the necessity of investing and saving money, if only for anything but for the sake of our future and unanticipated situations. The author offered a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics, including retirement.

This book was a fun book to read. There is nothing in the book that I dislike except that in the book's description it was stated that the book was appropriate for readers between the ages of 40 and 50. This is the first non-fiction book I will come across that discusses reconfiguring our lives with humor in it as well. Since it is uncommon to find a book as engrossing as this one, this made the book stand out among others. The pace of the book was also fast. I read the book cover to cover in no time. This is due to the fact that the book wasn't boring to me. It was enjoyable to read.

I must admit that this book was really intriguing. The themes in the novel were handled quite well by the author. Each of the concepts in the book was thoroughly developed rather than simply being presented for the sake of presentation, giving the book a new, distinctive form. The only aspect of it I didn't enjoy was already mentioned, but it didn't stop me from giving the book a lower rating. The message is also communicated to the audience using straightforward language by the author.

The book was exceptionally edited because I didn't see any faults in the book. I give this book a rating of five out of five stars for these and other reasons.

I recommend young readers who are of working age to read this book. Prior to retirement, it will assist them in making future plans.
