Review of Reconfigurement
Having been in the financial industry for over twenty years, the author walks us through what he learned during that period. He thinks outside the box, inculcating his experiences with the knowledge available to him to educate readers through this book. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that educates readers about the financial world. The author doesn't believe in working under someone forever. What happens when one stops working after retirement? Will the pension schemes be enough for that person to enjoy?
The author educates readers through this book on the steps one must take to acquire financial freedom. It also includes cutting down on one's spending, saving, and using the money saved wisely. Saving up for affordable health insurance is also vital. Nobody knows what the future holds, and health insurance puts one in a good position against unfortunate circumstances like accidents and death. The author reveals many secrets about the financial world. What are these secrets? To find out, grab a copy.
A large percentage of people do not have a retirement plan. Most times, people do not retire early because they failed to plan while they were younger. It leads to stress, which can lead to various health conditions. It is critical to plan for retirement while one is still young. One becomes self-sufficient and no longer requires financial support. Studies have shown that people with retirement plans tend to live longer than those without retirement plans. It is because those who have it retire early and enjoy themselves, while those who failed to plan run themselves into the ground while working jobs their bodies can't sustain.
This book is very educational. I learned about different sectors and how they operate. The author did a great job, and I found no flaws in this book. My favorite chapter is the one where the author discusses wills and trusts. He teaches readers about the steps to follow while writing a will for oneself, what to avoid, and how to make it easy for the beneficiaries of the will to understand. A will is necessary to prevent disputes over the properties of the deceased.
This book is straightforward. The author wastes no time in explaining his points. The writing is clear and concise, making comprehension easier. I found no errors in the book, indicating it was exceptionally well edited. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to everyone who plans on having a retirement plan. I also recommend it to financial advisors.
