Review of A Look into the Secrets of Credit Repair: How to Fix Your Score and Erase Bad Debt
Now that you've gotten a source of income, you would want to start thinking about how to get financial security—invest in liquid assets, open credit accounts, apply for loans, and don't spend more than what your credit limit spells out to ensure a low debt-to-credit ratio.
One out of five Americans owns a credit account, and some have more than one credit card. They believe in the financial miracle of having a credit account to aid in acquiring the expensive-but-necessary items that a salary cannot afford all at once, such as automobiles and houses. Yet many Americans are debt-ridden, and some are on the brink of bankruptcy. The gap in the knowledge of how credit accounts operate is filled in the book A Look into the Secrets of Credit Repair.
A Look into the Secrets of Credit Repair: How to Fix Your Score and Erase Bad Debt by Diana Donnelly is an educational piece to empower readers with some financial techniques necessary to live in financial freedom. It seeks to achieve this by opening readers' eyes to the nitty-gritty of credit accounts and giving useful tips to prevent and repair bad debt.
The author writes instructively, which makes her sound concerned about having her audience be impacted by the book. She is an expert in loan processing and a general financial service facilitator, having worked as a mortgage underwriter and in the real estate business, where she helps clients successfully relocate from one house to another house outside their countries. She seems to be truly passionate about using her experiences to specifically help people make the most of their credit scores so that they can utilize their credit accounts to provide themselves with the financial life they would have dreamed of and not the other way around. She based her financial and loan processing advice on the need to understand the technicality of credit scoring, including the formula used to arrive at the three digits, factors that increase it, and factors that reduce it. She described the impacts of reduced credit scores and the benefits of increased credit scores. While reading the book, and from my reading experience, readers might be tense as to how long and easy it could be to get out of bad debt. Before she goes too far to give her education on credit scores, she reduces my tension on this type of uncertainty by including the success stories of some popular personalities who have once been debtors, such as Becky Beach, and were able to get out of debt using certain techniques and spending behaviors.
The book earns a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It is written carefully and in an easy-to-understand manner. I have no problem comprehending any of its financial terms because the author explains each term within the content. She also gathers and explains all the technical terms in the glossary section. I will say that I've been very lucky to have picked this book, and I couldn't love it less for the wealth of financial education and the understanding of terms used in money lending that I've gained.
I found no grammar errors in this book, so I'll say it has been exceptionally well edited. Also, I love the design with which the content is presented in my e-book reader app. The text font, photos, and style with which the financial thought-provoking quotes are presented are entertaining yet very educational and impactful. I recommend this book to everyone who seeks to get out of their debts and live without accumulating debt ever after.
