Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement, written by E. Alan Fleischauer, is an excellent book that assists readers in preparing for retirement. The author, who has previously held executive roles in the financial services sector, imparts the wisdom and experiences he has gathered over the years. He emphasizes the need for a thorough retirement plan that goes above and beyond the standard savings and investment methods that retirees find appealing. He provides market insights and counsel that can assist retirees in increasing their income as well as avoiding boredom at home or as a result of a regular daily schedule. Thinking ahead is essential to the reorganization process. Like any other important decision, planning for retirement involves careful consideration. This book covers many significant subjects, including retirement plans, annuities, long-term care, investments, will-writing, Social Security, and Medicare.
The author provided a list of other books and other resources that provide details on financial planning at the end of this book. I liked it since it contributed additional information about retirement planning that the author would not have included in the book. I particularly valued the author's decision to combine all the responses to frequently asked questions about money and retirement in a single book. The writing was good, the tone was casual, and the flow was excellent, which is what I liked about the book. I loved how financial theories and models were explained simply so that everyone could understand them. The book was substantially improved with the inclusion of certain jokes. The author's wit was interesting to see throughout the book. I appreciated the non-technical explanations given for some financial procedures outlined.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was intriguing and insightful to read. The writing was quite readable, despite the potentially frightening subject. It was cheerful and conversational, but also frank. The author's message was given validity, and the urgency of the subject was emphasized by including first-person tales from other retirees. You can learn how to manage your life from someone who truly understands what they are talking about by reading this book.
I am glad that I found such a thoughtfully provocative book with essential information. I enjoyed reading from the beginning to the end. Furthermore, I am rating this book, Reconfigurement 5 out of 5 stars because it was well-written and educational. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.
I would recommend this book to anyone over 30, and to people who are about to retire from work or are even planning to make a career change.
