Review of Reconfigurement
In his book Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer focuses on altering how people live as they get older by giving readers tried-and-true advice on how to maintain financial security after retirement. Despite the market's abundance of books on retirement plans, the author found that many of them were lacking in key strategies and that the plans themselves were out-of-date compared to today's standards. As a result, the author wrote this book to offer readers a competent retirement strategy. The author tackles several subjects that are related to financial stability, including mortgages, student loans, mutual funds, investing methods, and a host of other subjects. This book also emphasizes the norms and regulations that one must follow and plan around to prevent market risk. Please read the above-mentioned book for further information.
I enjoyed reading this book because it taught me a lot about how to make wiser financial decisions. When I learned the author is an expert and has a lifetime of expertise as a financial counselor, all of my initial reservations about whether the tactics the author discussed in this book may apply or not vanished. I like how the author explains everything in great depth, ensuring that the readers will have no room for misinterpretation.
The most important lesson I took away from this book is the necessity for everyone to change their financial strategy in response to the shifting trends in the financial market to minimize financial risk. To have a better financial future, the author also lists the jobs to avoid. The best aspect of this book is the author's sense of humor, which persisted until the final chapter.
The only drawback I could find with this book is that, according to the laws described in it, the strategies and plans it offers are only valid in the United States of America, meaning that readers from other countries could not make the best use of them.
Without the author's attempts to present every intricate piece of information in the fullest depth, I wouldn't have learned as much from this book about how to develop financial stability and improve retirement planning. In addition, I believe this book is professionally edited, given the lack of grammatical faults I found in it. I would like to give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, considering everything mentioned above.
Reading this book opened my eyes to the fact that, besides being crucial, retirement financial planning can also be challenging if we do not start it early on. For this reason, I heartily recommend this book to any adult who aspires to lead a secure and contented financial life in retirement.
