Have you ever wanted to do something, but had a fight with your mind on whether you should do it or not? Well, In It Together by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is the perfect book for you. This is a great book to help you get rid of fear and do anything that you know you can do. Basically, why put off tomorrow when you know you can do it today? Stop waiting! The time is now! The author talks about how we as people always think we will be happy if we do something or get something. However, once what we wanted is achieved, it’s always something else that we fix our eyes on wanting after we have completed the goal.

This book is amazing. In all honesty, I was feeling so down after work that I wanted to quit. When I started reading In It Together, it encouraged me to keep going. Fear is a big problem in my life, and sometimes you need someone to let you know that you are your worst enemy. This book has helped me to realize the past is the past, and it is time to move on. My father passed away from a sudden heart attack in 2021, and I didn’t get to say goodbye. Based on this book, it’s time for me to forgive myself. The author has made me realize we are really all the same, and no one ever leaves this Earth alive.

For the most part, I loved everything about the book. Unfortunately, I did feel as though some things were repeated multiple times. For instance, when Eckhart Aurelius Hughes mentioned addictions, divorce, or drinking problems. Moreover, I totally understand why; it was to make a valid point. I really don’t have too many negative things to say because it was a pretty positive and impressive book.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I actually read 100 pages the first day. Then, I read 105 pages the next day. It was definitely an easy-to-read and professionally edited book. Moreover, I didn’t give it a 5 because of the words that were repeated. It was too good of a book to be rated a 3, 2, or 1. I feel like the 4 was the perfect choice.

In my opinion, I think this book would best appeal to the ages of 18 to 49. The age of 18 is just the beginning of life. It will give an 18-year-old direction. In between the ages of 18 to 49, we are still figuring out life, and trying to find ourselves. By the age of 50, we have lived half of our lives. It’s the age where we should have gained wisdom and know where our life is headed. I would not recommend this book to anyone under 17 because they probably wouldn’t understand it.

Overall, we are in this together. If we all had love in our hearts, the world would be a better place. It doesn’t matter the spirituality or religion. Life is only what you make it.
