Living a financially self-sufficient life before and after retirement is possible. E. Alan Fleischauer in his book Reconfigurement emphasizes the importance of careful planning and financial freedom after retirement. The author shared knowledge from his research work on financial retirement as well as the experiences he had gathered over the years from working with different clients on having a strong financial foundation before retirement. In the book, the author shared tips, strategizes, and tactics for having an independent financial life after retirement. The author also outlines the importance of creating budgets, developing skills, healthy living, and insurance amongst others to ensure a successful retirement life. Furthermore, the author gave crucial information to young ones on the necessity of planning early, with tips on how to secure remote jobs and be productive. To know more about this book, pick up a copy.

The book Reconfigurement was written from the author's vast knowledge and experience from working with clients on financial planning as well the experiences from his personal life and research background. The book applies to both young and old who would like to reconfigure their financial lives not minding the life expectancy age. The author also skillfully integrated stories and research findings in his book to engage readers making them eager to learn how to make important financial decisions. The author's style of writing in explaining the untold truth about retirement amazed me. This made me admit that I am not too young to start planning for retirement.

I do not have a favorite chapter, every chapter is insightful and linked to each other. Although, the author cited America as his case study, however, the knowledge shared in this book is applicable to all no matter the country one is, as long as one is passionate about having an independent financial and exciting life after retirement. I strongly encourage everyone to pick a copy of this book and read it as it has a lot to educate on careful financial retirement planning.

This book has nothing to dislike because the author succinctly explains each financial terminology in a way the readers could understand it. The author did extensive research on this book and I must commend him for providing facts and figures to back his information as well as congratulate the editor for a job well done as I found no error in this book.

I rate this book five out of five stars as I find every aspect of it motivating to me. I admire the fact that the author was not solely theoretical in his writing, he connects life with reality as well as other important aspects of life that one needs to have a successful retirement life.

I am not a fan of nonfiction, self-help books. I think I prefer the author’s fiction. However, I do agree that this book covers a much needed topic and I’m sure that he did a good amount of research on this subject.

My attention was greatly drawn to the author's method of providing details and clarifying each chapter of the book. I believe the author drew on experience when writing this book, not just academic study. This book opened my eyes to the numerous ways and facets of life that investing for retirement and the future might benefit. Well done.
