Wesley The Owl by Stacey O'Brien

Post by Athene Noctua »

This book is about a girl and her owl. Stacey O'Brien writes this book about her life with an owl she ended up taking in on Valentine's Day of 1985. She tells of her adventures with the Barn Owl that she named Wesley. She keeps it lively and bright as Stacey talks about the days when she first had him and had to figure out how to live with her newfound companion to the last day with him. Those who loved Marley and Me will love this book.
Stacey has created a book that shows how owls truly act. They show emotions that were once thought to be purely human emotions. She talks about the many mishaps that occur with her boyfriends while raising him. Many facts and stories are presented in this book about owls and the other scientists she has worked with.
