Financial planning is essential. One of the ways to make the right decisions relating to our finance is to learn from the past experiences of retired workers. It is very important because we would learn from their mistakes and make the necessary changes. This book teaches readers different principles to ensure we save our money.

Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer teaches a reader principles to ensure we enjoy our life after retirement. The book has 13 chapters. The author started with the meaning of planning and why a worker must plan. Planning is making important decisions that are necessary for our progress in life. The author shares why we must save and invest our money. He shared different statistics, such as the monthly income of workers in 2019. Read the book to find other ways to plan our lives after retirement.

The book has some positive sides. The author did a lot of research before writing the book. He provides readers with useful statistics to support the information in the book. I love how the author encourages readers to have realistic plans. Our plans must be something we can achieve. The book has different motivational quotes. In chapter 4, the author adds a quote from Bill Chavanne. These quotes serve as an encouragement to readers. The author uses the book to encourage saving and proper planning. Many people in society do not like to save. One of the ways to avoid mismanagement of funds is by saving. A worker must save.

The book has some negative sides. The pages of the book were not numbered. I found it difficult to locate the pages in the book. I want the author to number all pages in the book. I would love the author to add more graphs to the book. It would be very useful to statisticians reading the book. Statisticians love to read books with charts because it helps them analyse the information the author wrote in the book.

The book encourages planning. Life after retirement would be very difficult for a person who does not plan properly. I found no error in the book, so it is exceptionally well-edited. Due to my positive sides, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars and recommend the book to workers who want to know the best way to plan for life after retirement.

I agree with you that financial planning is essential as the one who fails to plan for retirement now is planning for old age sorrow. Wonderful review.
