The Final Keystone by John Kevin Crowley is the book that tells us that the history of mankind is a journey from the caveman to modern times and from kingdoms to city-states to democracies. Civilization evolved from transient nomad peoples to territorial disputes over imagined borders. It is a journey from chaos to organization, from magic to science, and from misplaced beliefs to irrefutable proof. In general, the following questions get answers in the book: will the journey continue in time, leading us to where? Repeating the same story with different characters? What does the next "journey" look like? Is it the journey from the asleep and mindlessness of the unconscious mind to the awakened mind?

The book is easy to read and understand. Furthermore, his way of combining data from different sources makes it seem like the author has had a good passion for knowing about history for his entire life, because he puts in one book what I see in different books and makes it easy for the reader to know world history.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because I didn't see any errors in the book. I believe the book was exceptionally edited. What I appreciate about the author is that he tries to tell us that the final journey does not travel in time or over any distance. The final journey is the journey of awakening within each of us. The pathway has always been present. We are distracted by fear and distracted by the past and the future. If we can quiet the raucous shrieks of the intellect, the fearful, anxious, and worried mind, and listen to the "wise" teacher within, our relationships will take on a new and different meaning.

What I liked the least is that the author, John Kevin Crowley, focuses on the civilizations of history in western countries and not on eastern or African civilizations. Even if such countries had little to do with the development of world civilization, it is better to give them some acknowledgment.

The content is suitable for a reader who wants to know how the world reached its present level of civilization, but also for anyone who wants to know about the past. The reader is successful if he is optimistic enough to accept the transition of the human mind from the era of the caveman to the recent way of life and then to the era of the awakening human mind.
