Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a peer-reviewed, factual book addressing subjective accounting and management. In light of the recent economic downturn, it emphasizes the importance of effective financial planning for retirement. Alan warns of an impending catastrophe for those without sound retirement plans and urges them to "reconfigure" their steps in light of the new polls indicating a rise in life expectancy. The entire novel summarizes the evaluation, planning, and implementation procedures required to live a joyful and prosperous life by contemporary standards. The author lays forth excellent investing strategies and discusses critical investment decisions that anyone interested in securing their future should immediately begin to execute. Due to the author's expertise in finance and economics, a number of the book's practical tips and scenarios touch on key topics such as retirement savings, life insurance, and social welfare.

I enjoyed this book due to the author's writing style. One would anticipate the book to be factual and ultimately uninteresting given that it is a nonfiction with minimal or no creative flair. The author includes a one-on-one dialogue with the reader, explaining facts and issues and answering any questions that may arise. On numerous occasions, the use of jabs and humor served to keep the book entertaining and easy to read. This keeps the reader informed and breaks up the monotony of the narration. The author's style of explaining financial topics in everyday English is universally appealing.

Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer had a few flaws; suffice it to say, it was evident that the intended audience consisted primarily of adult Americans. Non-American readers may be turned off by the fact that the policies and financial models described in the book are only applicable to American banking and financial models. However, this should not deter you from reading the book as it contains numerous financial strategies.

Even with the minor flaws, I can confidently say that this book addresses fundamental themes that extend well beyond the borders of the United States. I am convinced that the lessons will go a long way toward increasing my financial literacy and enabling me to effectively plan for the future. This book was edited professionally and contains no flaws that disrupt its flow. It is worth reading due to the author's subject expertise and good financial background. Consequently, I rate this book five out of five stars.

In his private message, the author suggests this text to folks preparing for retirement. Having interacted with this book and being in my late teens, I definitely suggest it to young adults just beginning their professions. They stand to gain more if they are able to implement the principles early in lives.
