Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfingurement by E. Alan Fleischauer addresses the plan for retirement. The book talks about reality and tradition. The reality is that Americans are living longer and the retirement age is estimated to be 65, why 65? This is according to Otto Van Bismarck who said that citizens should be given pensions once they reach the age of 65. In the process of planning for retirement income is very significant but also having income in place, money is spent on other things like electronics, children, and also adults. Finding your area of fit where the books talk about assessment to look into areas in which one is good as well as providing online software to reduce burden.
Life protection is phenomenal therefore life insurance is very significant. E. Alan Fleischauer talks about types of insurance, when to take insurance, and which kind of insurance to take. The book touches on investment choices in preparing for retirement where it talks about mutual funds, types of mutual funds, and advantages and disadvantages of mutual funds. Mutual funds have classes this is A, B, and C. health insurance is one of the most important things in one’s life. According to E. Alan Fleischauer Medicare is divided into four parts that offer different types of coverage. Long-term care is expensive and this comes from acute health issues.
Will can be categorized into written or sometimes verbal which converted to writing. Trust is also having different types. Inter-Vivo and testamentary trusts are types of trusts that are used in the estate. This book concludes by talking about budgeting giving a solution to use online tools to generate one’s budget.
E. Alan Fleischauer share jokes in the book, and this made me laugh keeping me to continue reading the book instead of feeling bored. The book provides online links for one to go and take assessments. Reconfingurement provides software that can be used online for financial advisory and retirement planning, this interests me because an example of the software is given which makes it easier for one to search online. Name clears myths about social security. I like this part since provides good examples.
As I read through the book I have not encountered negative things in the book. It addresses an important part of one’s life and therefore I haven’t found anything negative about the book.
I proudly give this book a rate of 5 out of 5 stars. This is because it addresses important issues as well I gained much about planning for retirement. I can say the author has done more research and I also did not encounter any errors while reading therefore I can say the book is exceptionally well-edited.
I recommend this book for adults aged between 45-55 years of age because these are people who are approaching the age of retirement, the book will make their plan for retirement, what needs to be done, and what not.
