Alan E. Fleischauer's nonfiction book, Reconfigurement, aims to enhance the financial literacy of its readers significantly. Alan underlines in his book that while the financial industry is quick to promote hard work, commitment, savings, and investment, they often overlook one critical aspect: the need to plan for retirement. This book is an indispensable resource in today's world, especially in the financial industry, as it contains vital insights and knowledge critical to navigating life and making appropriate future plans.

The author discusses a broad range of topics in detail throughout the thirteen chapters that make up this book, including career evaluations, retirement planning, investments, and others. In this book, readers will find the necessary guidelines and solid financial strategies to help them make a smart and effective retirement plan. Some themes in this book include the importance of planning ahead and doing what you love before you retire.

I was enthralled by this book for a number of enticing reasons. The author's writing was engaging and easy to understand. The book stood out from others of its kind due to the incorporation of delightful stories and jokes. The majority of study findings and citations included throughout the book are proof that the author conducted diligent and in-depth research before writing it. The author's pleasant and genuine tone also encourages readers to trust his advice and the lessons he has learned from different experiences in life.

In addition to the vital knowledge this book holds about the financial sector and retirement plans, it is also suitable as a self-help book because Alan leads readers along a route to self-discovery and living a life they enjoy. He accomplishes this by integrating several assessment tests that help you better understand yourself, build better relationships with others, know your career options, and much more. The author, who has taken a vast number of assessments, offers his personal opinion on each of them, facilitating the readers' ability to make a well-informed choice.

This book has no flaws, in my opinion. Reconfigurement is an exceptionally well-edited book since I did not find even a single error while reading it. Given all the excellent points I've already highlighted, I'd give this book a rating of 5 out of 5.

Reconfigurement is best suited for the older population getting ready for retirement. I also recommend it to the younger population because it will help them make early judgments and decisions for the future.

A lot of people suffer after retirement. With people living longer, the money saved throughout the years for retirement gets used up quite quickly despite some people using it sparingly. It's hard. We must plan for tomorrow today!
