Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer is a highly informative book that describes ways regarding what a person can do to plan for their financial future. It is a well-known fact the earlier you start planning, the more benefits you get in the financial field. Alan Fleischauer is a specialist in financial planning and management, and he uses this book to inform financial concepts in the context of future retirement. He discusses ways for people to generate income even after retirement. I have read several studies attesting that most people choose to retire later, thus exhausting themselves, just to not run out of money.

The thing I most enjoyed about this book was the amount of research the author did. I am highly interested in this field, so I knew a lot of information before reading this. This book did complete my knowledge in an invaluable way. I know how boring financial topics can be, so the fact that the author chose to write humorous inserts made me like this book even more. The information was much easier to understand and retain because of these amusing pauses. If there is one thing, I, the average man, should worry about is the credibility of the financial benefits described to be true. If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. The author makes commendable efforts to dismantle this myth by referencing credible organizations and legitimate studies. He mentions the Bureau of Statistics and information about the American Workforce and social security fund.

I am not American, so a good part of this book was not geared toward me. This does make the book's niche smaller, yet I can't deduct a point from my rating for this negative aspect.

E. Alan Fleischauer is a brilliant author with a clear writing style that I enjoyed. He knew exactly where to talk business and where to joke. I think teaching generations how to save money and invest it, as early as 15-year-olds, will be very rewarding in the grand scheme of things. I found no errors in this book, leading me to conclude that it is professionally edited. Thus, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This recommendation is based on the complexity of some of the terms or financial aspects and country of residence. This information is mostly going to be relevant to Americans over 18 years old.
