Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead is a non-fiction book written by E. Alan Fleischauer. Individuals considering or planning to retire are the author's primary audience for the entire book. He talks about retirement preparation, investments, life insurance, social security, health insurance, long-term care, and what to actually expect after retiring. He takes notice of some of the crucial elements that most individuals overlook, like job decisions and broad retirement planning. The author chose this topic since the majority of people don’t really plan for retirement.

The book is, in my opinion, packed with helpful information that might be helpful to those interested in learning about retirement planning as well as those who are intending to retire. The novel is easy to read and comprehend because of the language and tone utilized throughout. The author uses humor throughout every chapter to add appeal to the book's dull subjects of business and history.

Additionally, the author includes some extremely pertinent material supported by certain research resources in each chapter on the relevant topics, making it easy to comprehend but also to accept his thoughts. Most of the information offered by the author is supported by data found in the sources he used or recommended. The information in the book serves as a reminder that we should start making plans for the future as early as possible.

Despite all of the things I appreciated about the book, there were a few parts I wasn't very interested in. I initially found it amusing how the author used humor to make some of the themes fascinating. Later in the chapters, the humor was used too much, making it look forced and incredibly unprofessional. Furthermore, despite the fact that the author used a large number of reliable research sources, the author's knowledge was called into doubt by the reference to Wikipedia, an unreliable source.

I had to read the first few chapters three times because the chapters lacked titles, which made it somewhat challenging for me to read the book at first. Despite these, I genuinely adore the book and could read it repeatedly. Because of its educational content, humor, professional editing with no single error and use of mature language free of obscene terms, the book merits the maximum rating. I will give the book a 5 out of 5stars; that’s the best I could offer.

I would recommend the book to people searching for retirement plans, self-improvement, or just anybody who is into finances. In fact, everyone should read the book because of how effectively it is written and edited with useful content.
