Review of Reconfigurement
When you read a self-help book about finances written by a financial and retirement planner, you have this feeling that it should be worth it. Well, it was worth it. Handling your income, making crucial investments, and planning ahead are luxuries that not everyone can afford. E. Alan Fleischauer has written the ideal book for tackling the looming chasm many individuals have faced. In his book, the author took his readers on a tour of discipline to teach them how to manage finances, help their current situation get better, make crucial investments, and plan ahead.
This book is a self-help book that focuses on three major things: investment, planning ahead, and how to manage finances. On investments, the author detailed a good reason why investments can help keep your financial situation on track and how they play a significant role in your job. On planning ahead, the author made provisions for various ways you can make your after-retirement life easy; he talked about pensions and the 401(k), their differences, and precautions to take if you have either of them. The author also visualized the idea of managing finances, how to cut unnecessary expenses, and how to stay ahead of the game.
As a financial and retirement planner, I think the author threw out every piece of information for his readers, and he went further to give company and website names to support his theory. What I liked were the Winston Churchill quotes that he dropped two or three times. Another positive aspect for me was the author's writing structure, and I must confess that this book is one of the easiest to understand.
I would have used this space for my dislikes, but I don't think I had anything against this book; this book was perfect, to say the very least.
I will rate Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead 5 out of 5 stars. I can't even take out a star from this book; it was amazing and breathtaking as well. Each of the 142 pages of this book was worth it; this book is manna from heaven.
My best recommendation for Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer is for people who are 40 and above. The younger ones may not value this book, but it is still worth reading; after all, no knowledge is a waste. This book was exceptionally well edited.
