Nature has already made man in such a way that we have to age, and as we get older, we become unable to work, especially in cases of hard labor. Finances tend to become a challenge in this situation, Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer guides and educates us on how to plan retirement.

A retirement plan is a vital aspect of every individual's life that we tend to forget. Fleischauer started by telling us the importance of planning and that retirement is a topic that most individuals need to pay more attention to rather than making it seem unimportant. Fleischauer said we needed new retirement strategies as pensions and 401(K)s were not sustainable. Alan introduced many topics in finance to enlighten us on economics, such as insurance, annuities, social security, investment choices, and so many more, which will interest you.

Due to poor life planning, most individuals end up working past age 65, and we all know that once we are over 65, we may not get a job. He emphasized health insurance and income protection plan, which many individuals are negligent about their importance. Fleischauer introduced assessments, which we could try out even while reading the book because he added links to the websites and used himself to show the accuracy of these assessments. He also made us understand there is still time to plan for retirement.

I liked this book because it is very educational. Alan pointed out some moments in my life that I had neglected, which will help me implement change. I also liked that Alan made references to links for the assessments he mentioned in the book. Alan is hilarious, and he kept the book lively by telling stories which helped to make the book interesting for me. I also like this book because I was guided by an experienced. He taught me about investing, and I needed enlightenment on how to make suitable investments.

I didn't find any reason to dislike this book. I recommend this book to anyone working, running a business, or planning retirement. I encountered a few errors, which shows that Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer was professionally edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is a professional guide for retirement and will be very productive if in the right hands.

Do not underestimate the power of financial planning especially while working towards retirement because it would be of great use for the elderly when they cannot carry on with their normal daily life activity.

Retirement plan is important because I feel the elderly should retire at the age of 65 and this will enable them live their final years in comfort. This is a very nice and detailed review.
