Reconfigurement is a thought-provoking book about the need for a complete redesign of retirement planning. This necessary change is a result of increased life expectancy and agility. The need for transformation in the processes and procedures for retirement planning is due to changing times and the need for adaptation, not because the traditional way is harmful. This is not one of those books that simply lists problems without providing solutions. The author, a retired financial adviser, provided a list of guaranteed income sources for retirees. Those income sources are guaranteed in the sense that retirees will not be concerned about running out of money.

E. Alan Fleischauer did an excellent job with this book. This transformative book has a lot of things that appeal to me. The author’s language was straightforward and simple. This made the reading experience more enjoyable. The book’s content is accurate and based on personal experience. Reconfigurement contains expert financial advice on how to plan ahead of time and be ready for unexpected circumstances, including disabilities. The jokes in this book also contributed to a smooth reading experience. The organization of this book aids in the assimilation of its contents.

I find it difficult to dislike anything about this book. Instead, I am grateful for the opportunity to read this book. It has added innumerable values to my life. One of these values is the ability to maintain equilibrium between my income, personal needs, and family needs. I also learned that I need to plan financially not only for retirement but also for unforeseen events. Despite the fact that Americans were the primary focus of the book, the invaluable information contained within the book is of great value to people of all races and cultures.

I rate Reconfigurement 5 out of 5 stars. The positive aspects of the book include its simplicity, valuable content, perfect organization, and adequate humorous content. I found no errors, so I believe the book was exceptionally well edited. This book contains life-changing information. I wish there were ratings like 10 out of 5; I would have given it that. This is the best book I’ve read on financial planning and saving.

Due to the nature of the information contained in this book, I strongly recommend it to all adults, both young and old. I recommend it for young adults because it is never too early to start thinking about the future. Furthermore, if you begin early, it will become a habit that you will be unable to live without.
