Do you, at times, feel lost in your life? Does it seem like you don't know where you are going, or how would you achieve your dream and have a happy retired life? If yes, Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead, by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a book that you must consider reading. It is a comprehensive guide with actionable steps that can help readers of all ages know themselves better and plan their finances holistically. While it mainly focuses on achieving a better retirement, it also has chapters on proper career planning and self-assessment. If you resonate with the thought that it is never too early and never too late to reconfigure your life according to your will, this book is bound to impress you. As a perk, it has many embedded jokes in it.

The one thing that I loved the most about this book is the author's writing style. Reading him felt like hearing a personal mentor talk personally to me, with a great sense of humor. If I have to select one part of this book as my favorite, it would be the one where the author talks about various tests that readers can take to get to know their strengths, weaknesses, and personalities better to help themselves make better career decisions. I also appreciated the way that the author prompted the readers to change how they looked at their money and helped them plan their finances by discussing various schemes like insurance, investments, their importance, and much more.

There is nothing that I disliked about this book, and I do not have anything negative to say about it. Although, I would like to note that in the book, the author shares his perspectives about various topics, which may not resonate with the personal opinions of some readers.

Based on all things I felt about this book, Reconfigurement, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. This book is an example of excellent non-fiction. Reading it has been enjoyable and informative at the same time. Also, as I could not find any editorial errors in this book, I can say that the author has ensured proper editing for it.

I recommend this book to people who are interested in taking charge of their life, knowing themselves better, and reconfiguring their lifestyles to achieve their goals. This book can be a helpful guide for all adults, irrespective of their age group.
