Life can be unbearable. Today you are happy, and the next moment it seems things have turned around. It can be due to finances, health challenges, losing a loved one, or depression. Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss by Susan Ducharme Hoben is a story of the experiences of the Ducharme family.

It all started on the 29th of August, 2008. A happy marriage of more than 25 years seemed to be in distress as Susan was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was lucky that the doctor identified her cancer early enough, and her husband Bruce was with her through this challenge. After successful chemotherapy, they celebrated life by throwing a party.

A few months later, Bruce was rushed to the hospital. Susan rushed to the hospital and met her husband, who was confused about the situation. He told her that he overheard the nurses saying he had cancer. They were about to embark on this journey again, and Susan assured her husband that she would be available and supportive whenever possible. Dr. Murray had come to speak to the couple about cancer's nature and its seriousness. If you want to find out how this couple overcame these challenging times, get this book.

I liked this book because it was exciting and full of suspense. It pointed out the importance of oneness in a family, and how love and constant communication could strengthen a family's bond. Susan was a strong woman who never allowed her emotions to hold her back. I also liked their marriage because they were always ready to sacrifice for one another, which made them stronger. This book also taught me to cherish every moment we have in life with both our nuclear and extended family because you never know when our time will be over on this earth. I learned that it was good to research any illness diagnosed and seek professional advice on managing it. Lastly, I learned that we should stay positive and strong during a challenging time.

I didn't find any reason to dislike this book. I recommend this book to people who need a source of encouragement, anyone going through difficult times, and anyone who has a loved one battling an illness. I did not encounter any errors while reading this book, which shows that Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss by Susan Ducharme Hoben was exceptionally well edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because this was a very touching and encouraging true-life story.

The word death always carried fear and sadness in its wake. Reading this book helped me come to terms that it doesn't always have to be like that. You can let go of life without the added pain that comes with it.

When I die, id like to recall the life I've lived as fruitful and worth the while. I don't want to look back and see that I could have led a more fulfilling life if I allowed my self the chance.

The pains of losing a loved one in unbearable, especially if you can’t help the situation, all we can could do is to offer as much support we can them. I love how detailed the reviewer made the book. Nice review
