The book Reconfigurement by E Alan Fleischauer, is a financial advisory book. It provides a comprehensive guide on planning finances ahead of time. The book begins with its focus on pre-requisites of retirement like, having fun at your job, travelling while you still have money coming into your bank account, and most important of all, getting your life and health insured. The focus shifts to efficient post-retirement financial planning and budgeting, as you read further. It also sheds light on the importance and criteria of making a fitting career choice.

Alan has mentioned quite a few, considerable life and health insurance policies, that can be put to use, for best interest. Reconfigurement also lays out favorable social security programs and investment choices for retirees, that can help them pay for a part of their total expenditure.

The book covers every topic in great detail, for example, it has a separate chapter, dedicated to common social security myths being debunked by Alan, with relevant facts and figures. The author has also paid attention to a touchy topic like, writing a will, that shows the paradigm of his knowledge and genuine concern for the reader.

Alan is a financial management professional and a fiction writer, which he has proved with his engaging writing style, in Reconfigurement . He has even added relevant jokes in-between chapters, to make it a light ad interesting read, albeit an un-interesting topic of discussion. Alan has also kept his book precise, ad to-the-point, instead of including irrelevant information, he has mentioned a list of his recommended books, to refer.

With so much to cover, Alan gets side-tracked with other relevant information. away from the main topic in Chapter 3. However, in the following chapters he has made sure to keep sub-topics for later, to explain.

I'd give this book a rating of five out of five stars , because it is a thorough insight on finance management, with genuine and personal advice from the author. The book is also very easy to read, and comprehend.

This book has been professionally edited. I recommend it to every person who wants to take a chance to turn their life around. Be it as small as bringing a change in their spending habits or be it as huge as starting a new career. This book is for people of all ages, who want to reconfigure their life at any given point of time.
