Have you ever felt stuck in a hopeless situation and you have no idea how to begin the journey to redemption? Well, Seeking... Finding... Healing... by Becky Lu Jackson offers a rather detailed and well-researched guide to those who are on the path of inner family healing.

The author sheds light on how to recover from childhood and ongoing trauma. Harmful habits such as drug and eating addictions. She uses her real-life experiences to guide the readers into the process of identifying the problem and solving it through her inner family healing method. She has been an alcohol and food addict; her journey to recovery is inspiring in every way. The bigger part of the strategy is done in the mind and the spiritual realm is a vital area the book explores.

The book consists of four parts. The first part introduces the reader to what inner family healing is and explains what he or she needs to begin the process step by step. The second part makes the reader aware of other resources apart from self, to aid in the success of the process. The third and fourth part gives the reader a clear method of how to engage with their inner family, plus it gives the reader real-life experiences to help in the understanding of how he or she can go about it. The book goes further to help the reader who has done their foundational work into a person who can identify the faults in life and end up with amends.

What I love about the author is that she explains her logic in a detailed manner answering any question the reader might have. It is written in simple English and any new word is explained. It is relatable to our day-to-day life and lastly, it gives accounts of other people's experiences in their path to inner family healing and how it made their lives better. The reader won't have to feel alone in their quest for inner peace and freedom.

I found the book to have only one setback, I could not understand what it meant to be in a " catch-22 " from page 63. Other than that, I found no flaw that would raise any alarms.

I rate this book, 5 out of 5 stars because I believe the book contains thoroughly researched and proven self-help strategies for those in need of inner family healing without any supervision needed. I can say it was professionally edited plus, the process of the strategy flowed well from the beginning to the end of the book.

I would recommend this book to anyone battling with depression, past trauma, and any form of addiction. It is an eye-opener to some things we miss in life.
