A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a non-fiction political book, detailing the state of the nation and world affairs. It is written from the first-person narration and informs the reader about his journey to achieve and accomplish his dream and goal for peace and economic freedom, not only in his hometown in Algeria where he was born and raised but also throughout Africa such as in Morocco, Ghana, Angola, Somalia, South Africa and Cote d’Ivoire and internationally interlinked with France, the British colony, Portugal Israel and Palestine.

During his journey through life, he had a calling to go back home to accomplish and achieve his dream for peace in creating economic freedom and independent countries in Africa that were colonized by settlers during colonization especially his hometown Algeria. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah worked closely with prominent presidential and political figures, the likes of President Felix Houphouet-Boigny.

The positive aspect of this book is that Dr. Ghoulem Berrah took the reader on an insightful detailed journey of how he fulfilled the life purpose of his dream for peace in Africa and throughout the world. He included vivid images which added a beautiful feature to his novel. He gave important and valuable information about how vital it is for developed countries to work together with developing countries, as he points out that Africa, which is a developing continent is very rich in natural resources and developed countries such as the United States of America, Europe and China are excellent with technology and If all continents and countries can join and work together, which should or already are, in creating a well-developed process in exchange and trade of their best goods and services, agriculture, skills, tools, machinery, transportation and many more, it would create peace, harmony and success in the world, rather than for countries to take and not give in exchange, it is better to create an equal and fair trade where countries give between other countries at an affordable and reliable price or free offering. Establishing a developed and prosperous Africa is still an ongoing process in 2023 since colonizers settled in Africa during the colonization era. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah and political leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Felix Houphouet-Boigny, Barrack Obama and many more leaders have been committed to this mission of creating the United States of Africa supported by an organization called African Union where dialogue and discussions are held by political and presidential leaders.

The negative aspect of this novel is that even though it is insightful and beautifully written, the book is lengthy to read, the author ensured to provide the reader with detailed information about his journey and mission to his dream for peace. I appreciated how well-written the story was, as the leaders in Africa and the world today are on the same mission, which we hope and pray will be successful and accomplished as soon as possible.

A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a 5 out of 5 stars . It is professionally edited and I would recommend this book to leaders, politicians, activists, presidential figures and anyone who aspires to create a better, peaceful and prosperous community, country, nation and world today and for future generations.
