Review of Reconfigurement
The author, E. ALAN FLEISCHAUER has a good insight into financial attributes and the dos and don’ts any American should adhere to for a disciplined life with financial stability. In the book RECONFIGUREMENT, the author is able to sketch the key points to being financially safe at an older age. In a nutshell, he helps make plans for the future. He also gives suggestions on the various career opportunities that can be selected by youngsters for a good career. Though he quotes a variety of methods for readers to choose a carrier, he provides all options for the reader to choose one in which they are interested, and various websites on which he relies may provide different options for the reader.
The dependence on third-party websites is highly encouraged by the author to have a detailed analysis of various things that a reader can have before making any key financial decisions. So it provides the readers with the scope to have a detailed study on the respective topic before coming to conclusions, and for that, various tools are also provided where the readers can use them. He emphasizes the importance of reconfiguration and advises finding solutions early in life rather than facing retirement as a late-life crisis. He alluded to the various retirement plans and concerns that one should have. With his experience of more than 20 years in the financial field, he suggests that everyone should invest in reconfiguring themselves for the future. He himself suggests that reconfigurement is planning for the future. He gives insight to readers a broad perspective on how much a person will make in his entire life. He makes us believe that the ability to work is our biggest asset. He explains how much money must be invested in order to have a comfortable retirement.
The tools he provides to the readers give a lot of suggestions, which may confuse prospective career or investment seekers, and at one point the author himself confirms the ineffectiveness of certain methods. The author mentions things that are more viable for the American subcontinent, and any person outside the premises may find it less useful, as different countries have different policies and tax methods. But in general, he is able to give valuable input on finance and investments.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Planning for the future is better if it is done at an early age. The book is exceptionally well-edited. He introduces various tools for a self-check on investments and careers that any person can choose.
Apart from that, the way the author presents the data is absolutely fabulous and keeps us involved in reading the book. The author recommends the need for the selection of carriers, financial management, insurance, mutual funds, and so on—which will have a broad impact on anyone who uses it to its full potential. As a result, the book is recommended for anyone between the ages of 20 and 60, as it allows enough time to plan for a prosperous and secure financial future.
