Review of Reconfigurement
Planning ahead of time is an excellent way to protect your investments and retirement funds for the future. There is no better way to accomplish this than to determine the type of retirement plan that is best suited to your needs. The best book to learn all of this is in the book Reconfigurement. It all comes down to planning ahead of time in life at any stage and completely transforming or resetting it whenever you want. Mr E. Alan Fleischauer designed this book to require the reader to use both the left and right brain, whereas most self-help books either addresses the right brain or the left brain only. It advises you on how to make wise financial decisions. You gain a lot of financial literacy.
E. Alan Fleischauer, the author, has a great sense of humor; he takes a serious topic like finance and makes it enjoyable to read. After reading about each type of insurance, he leaves you with a thought-provoking question. He added funny quotes as pictures with puns in them. Credits are provided at the end of each chapter so that the reader can assess the full source of the information provided by the author. I like how E. Alan Fleischauer included links to various websites where the reader could evaluate themselves, their personalities, and career choices. I learnt that when resetting your life, it is critical to evaluate yourself, especially in terms of finances. A history lesson about the first insurance (life protection) was given, which was very beneficial to my understanding of the book as a whole.
Reconfigurement not only teaches you how to invest, save, and spend money, but it also teaches you how to avoid costly mistakes in investments and insurance policies. The author also advises on various medical schemes. One thing about this book is that you will learn various strategies and be informed about various policies. What I liked best about this book is that it is short and to the point. It is only 131 pages long and divided into 13 chapters, so even if you have a short attention span, you can read it and finish it. The words used were in simple text, and difficult terms were accompanied by an explanation, making the comprehension much easier.
This book was an educative read. There was nothing I disliked about it. The sarcasm and sense of humor are unique, and it is an eye opener for many people. Because people are living longer than they did in the 1930s, I wish the author had included a chapter on young people investing in their early twenties. It would have been helpful to know how to start saving in your early years, but nonetheless this book is still a great read.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it was well structured and exceptionally written with no grammar and spelling errors. The pictures provided were clear and easy to open and read, which shows how much thought was put into writing this book. It is educational, informative and there are real-life testimonies about the author's client's transformation of their financial lives. It also shows that reconfiguring your life at any stage works.
I recommend this book to anyone looking forward to retiring but doesn't know how to go about it. As well as those who want to make good choices with investing their money. People from ages 50+ will benefit the most from this book as it is specially written for them because most people start planning for their retirement at that age. But if you like to learn about financial literacy, like me, you can also read it.
