A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a nonfiction self-help book following the author's life. The author's story spans his early years until his latter years. By doing so, readers are able to picture and investigate the genuine impact he had on his generation. I'm proud of his writing talent, which was showcased in the pages of this book. He was born in a small town in the northern Algerian province of Constantine. The author became a freedom warrior in Algeria, but he encountered racism there, even though he was dedicated to achieving independence because that was his main goal. Before becoming a diplomat, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was a professor of virology at the Yale School of Medicine. He went to school in France and was detained for his activities in Spain. He visited China and the US for academic purposes. Furthermore, he accepted the president of the Ivory Coast's invitation to serve in Africa because he was troubled by the lack of international peace.

The location and culture of Berrah's birthplace are highlighted in the book. I relished reading this section because it made me aware of several foreign cultures. I adore how the mother of the author decided to raise her child by herself after her husband passed away. It demonstrated her grit and fortitude. This demonstrated the depth of maternal love. This book was incredibly insightful, instructive, and educational, which is why I enjoyed reading it. I learned a lot about certain historical occurrences in Algeria, as well as other fascinating historical knowledge about other African nations. The author's writing and storytelling in this book made it a pleasure to read. It was very thorough and engrossing. The author's message resonated with me because it was so relatable. The author's description wasn't tough for me to follow.

The book was far too long, and some vocabulary was challenging to pronounce, although I thought the book was excellent and engrossing. The author gave the impression that he had written down every aspect of his life, leaving nothing out. The author's use of vibrant images of various accomplishments and events to enliven the book's pages was one of my favorites.

My interest was held throughout the entire book by the author. Such a fantastic and instructive book was enjoyable to read. I relished reading it from start to finish, and I relished the book's pacing. I have to praise the author for writing a novel with such strong appeal. I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well-structured and compelling to read. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

Likewise, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in African history.
