The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers, by Gary Chapman

Post by egeekmom »

I am a huge fan of The 5 Love Languages! I recommend it to just about everyone because it is a relationship game-changer and this edition for parents of teens is no less powerful. Don't overlook this book just because the love languages are the same. Chapman breaks down for parents that while their teenagers primary love language is still the same as when they were children, parents must express their love in a new way so that the teen will embrace and receive the gestures.

He includes conversations with both teens and parents, as well an idea cheat sheet at the end of select chapters. I have a few pages of notes and still haven't finished the book.
