Seeking... Finding... Healing... by Becky Lu Jackson is the book that tells us that if you are a seeker looking for a guide to using the valuable healing tool of inner family work, this can be the workbook to help you understand the necessary foundation elements, acquire the tools needed to create that foundation, and offer you a step-by-step visualization guide to create a connection to your inner family. By doing the exercises and actions outlined, I believe you, too, can have an inner family healing. The inner family consists of you (represented as the mental self), an emotional self, a physical self, and a spiritual self.

There was nothing about this book that I disliked. This book gives me all the information I need to meet my inner family. And, the author summarizes the content of the book at the beginning, which will motivate the reader to go ahead.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is easy to read, understand, and apply. This book was also well edited and well constructed, free of errors. And the author tells us that, in the short run, the road to fully healing can be difficult and painful; it requires time, energy, and commitment. It was not always easy to find my way to spiritual beliefs and sane behaviors, but the miracle of changing my interpretations and reactions to my history and of accessing previously untapped strengths and wisdom was worth all the hard work I put in as I trudged along my path of healing in those early years. Transitioning from old beliefs, immature attitudes, and dysfunctional patterns of living to new patterns and beliefs that build a lifestyle of self-respecting daily living is definitely not an easy task. Still, little by little, day by day, it can be achieved. Our new path can and will include some of the beginning elements of self-trust and, eventually, joy and gratitude for our lives.

Anyone interested in learning about ways to visualize inner families should be able to read the content. The reader is effective if he is willing to believe that there is a powerful, creative element within you that can and will be part of your inner family healing.

What I liked the least about the book was its repetition as a story. Even if so, it is not so boring to continue reading the book until the end.
