Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a comprehensive guide that addresses the necessity of planning for retirement. The book provides practical advice and strategies for readers to plan for their future and ensure financial security in their golden years. The author guides readers through reconfiguring their lives to prepare for retirement. The author draws on his vast experience as a certified financial planner, chartered financial consultant, retirement income professional, and estate planner to provide valuable insights into various topics such as taxes, investment, insurance, and pension.

The author delves into retirement planning and highlights the criticality of solid financial plans to ensure a comfortable and secure retirement.  The author stresses the importance of a well-thought-out strategy and provides practical insights into the planning process. He covers various aspects of retirement planning, including the significance of saving money, and provides readers with actionable advice to make their retirement years enjoyable and free of financial worries. Furthermore, the author addresses the possibility of unexpected circumstances and offers guidance on preparing for such eventualities. One of the most valuable sections of the book is the one that deals with finding a suitable post-retirement occupation. The author provides a comprehensive assessment tool to help readers discover their aptitudes and interests, thus enabling them to choose the right career path that will bring fulfillment and financial security.

I have come across several books that have enriched my life. Among these, Reconfigurement stands out as one of the best books I have read on financial planning for retirement. What I like most about Reconfigurement is its practical approach. The author provides a step-by-step guide to making sound financial plans that will benefit my retirement. From planning strategies to saving money, this book has everything I need to make the right decisions for my financial future.

Another aspect of Reconfigurement that I find appealing is the section on job aptitude assessments. What I like most about this section is that it helps readers discover the right occupation to engage in after retirement from work. The author provides several assessments that have been tested and proven to work. By taking part in these assessments, I can discover my strengths, weaknesses, and personality traits. This will help me make the right decision when selecting an occupation to engage in after retirement. What I like least about this book is the use of several financial terms that can be confusing for someone with little knowledge in that aspect.

I did not encounter any errors or typos throughout my reading, which shows that this is an exceptionally well-edited book. Based on the book's high level of informativeness, well-structured content, and impeccable editing, I am delighted to give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I strongly recommend this book to individuals who desire to have a hold on their financial future and approach their retirement with a sense of assurance.
