A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a book that the author wrote about himself. Berrah spent his entire life working to bring about peace in Africa. He was born and raised in a Muslim family. He witnessed the racism and abuse his people faced when he was young. Furthermore, he received moral and decent ideals from his strong mother, who was a role model for him. Political activism becomes his life's work as he grows passionate about politics. The author fought against French colonial rule in Algeria. He finished high school there before fleeing to France to pursue medical studies. It was during this time that he met other Algerian freedom fighters and began participating in the freedom movement. Even though he was living with his wife and pursuing his legal studies, he eventually received an American scholarship. After finishing medical school, he received his medical degree in the United States of America. The first scientist to present “Reverse Transcriptase Enzymes” and his marriage to a Christian while still, a Muslim were other topics he brought up.

Is an original work that was written in the first person. A table of contents is included in the book. The actions and emotions of the characters were effectively described and explained by the author using simple language. I adore the flavor the author gave the novel by including his romance. The content amuses the readers. The author and his wife had exceptional love despite their different religious and cultural backgrounds. The book's events are arranged in chronological order. The story was both engaging and informative because of the author's inventive language and appealing storytelling technique. Since they helped me picture the characters and circumstances the author described, the pictures in the book's chapters really appealed to me.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and interesting. Although the book's length concerned me because it was excessively long and some words were challenging to pronounce, apart from that, I still enjoyed reading it. My favorite feature of this book is its comprehensiveness, which is demonstrated by the author's choice to begin this tale in his early years.

I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars because it was inspiring and easy to read. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I would recommend this book to readers interested in African history.
