The book Facing Thoughts, written by Claire Vines, PsyD, is nonfiction. Claire Vines helps individuals, couples, and families with emotional conflicts and traumatic injuries. This book is a self-help guide for understanding and managing your emotions, and the author draws on her experience to give readers a glimpse into her field. A significant amount of this book is devoted to artwork.

The book opens with the author describing her life up to the point where she realized that she loved the study of psychology. This book could have the feel of a memoir at first, but it isn't one. She goes on to talk about psychotherapy, success, failure, loss, and much more. The author also discusses the phenomenon of power addiction, which has led many people to engage in corrupt behavior. You can enjoy the book more by looking at the pictures and reading the quotes the author added to the book. In order to learn how to handle one's own thoughts more effectively, the book recommends engaging in self-improvement and creative expression exercises.

I liked her advice to "honor the past" as a path to emotional freedom. Really helpful advice is given in this book for mending emotional wounds from the past. What I found particularly appealing was the author's recommendation of psychotherapy for use within one's imaginative pursuits, such as the arts. I found her discussion of anxiety, fear, and control to be particularly insightful. The light it sheds on the subject is remarkable. She also discusses the influence that mother and father figures have on a child's social development. This book's writing style appealed to me because it made for a more fun and quick read. I appreciate that she also talks about couples in the context of the subject matter of this book.

Something I have noticed about this book is how often the author repeats herself. It's possible that she's just trying to stress a point, so it doesn't bother me too much. However, I believe that it will annoy some people. As for other complaints, I have none. When you're feeling overwhelmed by your feelings and don't know what to do with them, this book provides a safe outlet in a novel way.

I gave this book five 5 out of 5 stars because I think it will be useful to a lot of people, and I admire the author for encouraging her readers to express themselves creatively. In spite of her frequent use of the same phrases, I will not be docking any points because I found this book to be enjoyable and interesting. This book has been professionally edited and is a quick, engaging read.

If you find it difficult to express yourself, if your thoughts often seem overwhelming, or if you find it difficult to keep your thoughts in check, this book is for you.

It is said that we have 70 000 thoughts every day. And some of it keeps repeating. This book is what I love to read since the recommendation fits me very well. I'm sure I will love the content of the book. Your review is awesome!
