Review of Purpose
When it came to reading The Purpose it was definitely one of the better books that I would rate 5 out of 5. It gave off a different kind of vibe about itself with the way she talked about herself and others throughout. Making it a real page turner about the what ifs we all have about life and the way we think our lives should be. Telling me about how people made their life their own again with different passions.
Yes every book has a hook line but this was something else completely with how she made me want to keep reading. Explaining how her life was different with her Italian culture growing up and how her life changed after losing a loved one. To make things seem so generalized with the bias that the world gives us about ourselves. From how we should be living compared to how we need to be living. Giving ideas on how we should see ourselves in the next 5 or even 10 years with our goals not just the here and now. Things that we should cherish instead of taking for granted like being with our loved one and not being rolled by the 9 to 5 job that we all work in some way or another.
Her way of talking feels like she's talking to you like she has known you all your life without feeling like you are the third party reading. Like a great friend with life experience of what we should take advantage of while we can, Rather than saying things that we all find boring and melancholy, we hear on a daily basis giving the sense of hope redeeming our dreams. Not using any type of foul language about herself or any of the people she writes about but telling about how everyday lives are affected differently with crises causing us to react, changing our very lives.
We each live but we really don’t think about doing anything other than work and sleep but when something unexpected happens making us stop and stare. Yes like The Script song because we don’t make plans for something like that until it's right there in front of us. Getting news like cancer or losing someone important makes our very world stop. Some want to hide from the world but others have to face it head on since we all experience pain differently. When life hits it hits hard but when it does we have to get back up no matter how hard it comes for us.
When it comes to life it's a series of choices that define our next steps. We all know things come and go but that's the same with people too. Never let the negative people define you but rather give you more strength in yourself. Yeah life isn't what it's all cracked up to be but when we choose and persist anything we do is possible. We are all dreamers in making ourselves better one day at a time. Needing to stand together we can do more than anything worth putting into words since not everything is said but felt as one. Within a dream, memories or some people. We all have a safe place to use it to strengthen your identity rather then hold you down.
