Reconfirgument by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book. The book focuses on planning and reshaping your life at any stage. According to the author, the life expectancy of an average American has increased by 30 years. As a result of the increase in life expectancy, retirement strategies need to incorporate plans containing pre and post-retirement activities. Using his vast knowledge in management as a financial advisory firm owner, Alan stated the various retirement plans that people could explore. The author also mentioned the pros and cons that are associated with each of the retirement plans.

A limited number of people speak about their financial state. In chapter two of the book, the author addressed the issue of income and budgeting. According to the author, you feel stuck with debt if you don't budget. Also, the author discussed topics relating to insurance, investment, and saving in the book. Alan encouraged the reader to pay more attention to their spending habit and also advised them to spend money on things that are important to them.

I expected a lot from the book, and the author met all my expectations. One of the things that intrigues me much in the book is the emphasis the author places on retirement plans. One of the things I like most is the chapter where the author discusses insurance. One of the insurance policies that interest me is the Variable Universal Life(VUL) because it allows the investment of cash into mutual funds.

The book is colorful and adequately organized into a series of chapters numbering eleven. The author's impressive and excellent writing skills are some of the book's positive aspects. The book is free of cryptic words and is easy to understand. The author added a story in the book to explain his points. Also, Alan added a sense of humor to brighten the mood of some of his readers, that might react emotionally.

The book is insightful and educative. I didn't find anything to dislike or negative about the book. However, I wish the author could also apply his management knowledge in writing this educative piece for people outside America.

I rate the book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The book is especially recommended to people between age 40 to 50 years of age. Apart from the age range the book is recommended to, I recommend the book to people of the younger generation from age 15. The book contains vital information that is needed at every stage of life.
