A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an autobiography novel. This book is jam-packed with information about the life of a medical student who became a political activist and a freedom warrior.

Ghoulem Berrah was born into a distinguished Islamic household that valued education. They live in the small Algerian village of Ain Beida. His mother forced him to study Islamic subjects and sent him to college so he could receive a formal education in France. Ghoulem observed and suffered tons of criticism, racism, and injustice during college time, when the nation was colonized by overlords at that time. Besides, Ghoulem became a fighter against the endemic racism of the day as a result of these chronological events. In addition, Ghoulem was the founder of a number of activist groups. In the meantime, he pursued medicine since he loves science. Next comes the rest of the story.

This is the first nonfiction book I've ever read, and I really like it, and I would love to read more nonfiction books. I would like to point out a few positive aspects of this book. The author firstly did a fantastic job at explaining each of the places where the story takes place. Second, I enjoyed the way the characters in this book developed. I felt as if I was inside the characters' heads while reading this book, which made it easier for me to comprehend who they were. Also, the plot was highly detailed and featured dependable real-life characters. I admired the author's mother's strong character as I read. In addition, this book has a ton of life lessons on every page that I learn from by looking at things from the author's viewpoint. For readers to better comprehend the setting and plot, the author's memories were depicted in pictures.

I couldn't really find anything about this novel that I disliked. The book is lengthy, I must confess, but I would never have anticipated anything less given the author's ongoing efforts to promote endurance, love, and patience.

The book was exceptionally well edited, because I didn't find any typos or mistakes in it. Author narration is used in this book. As a result, I give this novel 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy inspiring real-life stories and historical political stories. Also, because it doesn't contain any vulgar language or explicit content, this book is suitable for readers of all ages.
