I normally find self-help books to be terribly tedious and overly technical, often giving advice that sounds more at home coming out of a fortune cookie than an actual person.

However, Gina manages to give a fresh perspective, she talks to you like a friend. With anecdotes and stories, it feels like you're catching up with a friend who is checking up on you and trying to help you out of a slump.

And she doesn't just give advice, she shows step-by-step how to put the things she says into practice, all without managing to sound unreasonable or judgy. If I were to have any criticisms, it'd be this - the multiple buzzwords can sometimes make some lessons hard to properly take in.

Other than that I'd definitely advise to read this book, it's well written and will help you focus on your goals whilst giving you a way to achieve them.

Plus, it's a fun read!
