At a different level we all need some help or advice about how to face the difficulties that often life throws to us.Thriving in the storm, by Bill Murphy, is a book that will help you with that kind of advice. The author tackles how to master a change in behavior or an improvement in mindset in each chapter. The author gives recommendations on how to achieve a purpose, adding personal examples or examples from people close to the author. Each chapter finishes with a practical exercise. Those exercises are brief but powerful. The way that it is narrated makes his advice easy to be followed. Being brief exercises makes the task more feasible, as it would be difficult to find an excuse not to find that little time to do them. He explains how he achieved several challenges in his life, and how step by step he has overcome the daily life difficulties. He shows us that any challenge can be divided into small chunks and follow one step after another until we can achieve our set goal. He takes us hand in hand from one level to the next, showing us what are the strategies to follow in different situations. Through the experiences of the author we can identify ourselves with different situations he has overcome and realize that we can also do the same, and I do not mean literally, as we all have diverse interests and objectives, I mean go a step further in our lives, push ourselves not to the limit, but out from our comfort zone to be where we really want to be.

One of the things that I appreciate in this book is the structure. All the learning is nicely concentrated in 210 pages with very useful information and advice. I have not had this feeling I have had with some books of reading unnecessary pages that add nothing extra. Everything that the author has written is useful.

I have not found anything negative about the book.

Taking into account that I have not found any mayor grammatical errors and the practicality of the advice I will rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

I would recommend the book to anybody that wants to improve or change any area in their lives, or achieve goals whether is to do more exercise, to set up a business or have more friends, the advice will work for anything. The key Takeaway of the book is that anything is possible if you believe that it could be done. I would recommend to read it several times to get more benefit out of it.
