Mysteries of the First Instant by Daniel Friedmann with Dania Sheldon is an amazing book that covers the science and the Bible’s approach to understanding the universe. It takes readers on a journey from the Big Bang and the universe’s creation to how science has discovered the laws of the universe from time zero onward and why the universe has its particular characteristics.

The book is written in an accessible manner and requires no background in cosmology or the Bible. It gives readers an understanding of the Friedmann equations and how they can be used to calculate the age of the universe and its trajectory of expansion. It then looks at the research of Vera Rubin and Alan Guth, who discovered dark matter and the inflationary universe respectively. Throughout, the book discusses the Bible’s approach to understanding the universe, in particular its views on the first instant of creation. This is an inspiring and thought-provoking book. It is written in an engaging and entertaining style and is sure to be enjoyed by anyone interested in cosmology and the Bible.

I liked that this book provides an interesting and accessible look at the science of cosmology, the Bible, and how the two intersect. It covers topics such as the Big Bang and dark matter, as well as how scientists use the Friedmann equations to calculate the age and trajectory of the universe’s expansion. It also dives into the debate between scientists and bible readers as to how the universe came to be. The book is presented in a narrative format, which makes it easy to follow, and provides a clear explanation of the science and biblical basis for the universe’s creation.

There is nothing I disliked about this book hence, I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It is an incredibly detailed and well-researched work that delves deep into both scientific and biblical cosmology to explain the mysteries of the first instant of the universe. The authors explore the theories of the Big Bang, dark energy, and dark matter, and compare them to what is written in the Torah. They also provide a comprehensive overview of the history of the universe from time zero onward, and explain the laws of physics and the various theories about the universe’s creation. The book is easy to read and understand, and is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about the universe and how it came to be.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in cosmology, the Bible, and the beginning of the universe. It is suitable for readers with no background in any of these topics, as it provides a comprehensive overview of both the scientific and biblical approaches to understanding the universe. It is also suitable for readers with a background in cosmology, as it goes into detail about the research of Alexander Friedmann and other scientists, as well as the history and implications of their findings.
