The book Seeking… Finding… Healing… by Becky Lu Jackson is a spiritual guidebook that mostly reflects the author’s spiritual journey. This is a book that will teach you how to connect to both your future and younger selves and also help you explore the role of visualization in the healing process. This book contains various activities that aid and speed up the healing process from past traumas and regrets. While reading this book, you will also learn (from the author’s experience) how to reconnect with your divine source and access the spiritual wisdom needed to heal.

One of the things I liked about this book is the fact that the author clearly wrote it from her own experiences. Most of the knowledge and wisdom shared were from her personal experiences with the same processes she wrote about. From the book, I found out the author’s confidence in her healing process is largely based on the fact that she herself has practiced it for over a decade and it has been working for her, which is good. I like it when an author’s confidence in a process comes from the success they’ve achieved while implementing that same process in their life, rather than from piles of research. I also liked how she included various testimonies from clients who have tried the process she teaches. These testimonies help establish her words. Lastly, I love how the author guides the readers through the practical visualization process. Her instructions are very explicit and easy to follow.

There is nothing I did not like about this book. I love that the knowledge passed was well ordered. The healing does not come before the seeking, nor does the seeking come after the finding. The author arranged it in a way such that at the beginning of the healing process, you would already know everything you needed to know. I believe this order helps make the reader ready for the big task.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because, apart from everything I’ve talked about previously, the book was also professionally edited. I did not notice any spelling errors while reading this book. And for the right audience, it is easy to understand and follow the guidelines provided in this book.

I recommend this book to readers who are seeking spiritual guidance and personal and/or spiritual growth. Also, if you’re a reader seeking new perspectives and ways of thinking, then this book is for you.
