The Fight for Sleep by Thad R Harshbarger is a non-fiction and self-help book to solve insomnia without having to depend on sleep medications. This book discusses the symptoms of insomnia and its consequences, the factors that affect someone's ability to sleep and how to manage them more efficiently and more. It focuses on how we can solve the source of the problem instead of treating the symptoms. Furthermore, this book also discusses the importance of having consistent time to sleep so that it does not disrupt our circadian rhythms.

After reading this book, I found a lot of positive aspects to it. This book approached specific needs to aid insomnia which was very helpful. It also came in the form of road maps which helped readers to save more time and find the real solution to their problems faster. Besides that, I learned a lot of things from this book, such as the circadian sleep cycle, types of insomnia and more. In addition, this book also helped me to understand how daily habits and lifestyles could affect my sleep. The author, Dr. Harshbarger, also explained it in layman's terms which made it easier for me to understand the content of the book.

However, I found one negative aspect in the book. I found one grammatical error or typo in the book. Since it was a minor grammatical error, it did not affect my reading at all. Other than that, there's no negative aspect to the book.

Thus, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The explanation in the book was easy to understand. There were also a lot of lessons that I learned through this book. The grammatical error was also minimal, which made me very satisfied. Overall, it was worth reading it.

Last but not least, I recommend this self-help book to everyone because we all need a good quality of sleep to function well throughout the day. Even though the readers do not have insomnia, they also can learn a lot from this book, such as why we sleep late at night and why we get up early in the morning. Besides, this book is also suitable for people with busy lives as it comes in the form of road maps. The readers only have to read what is related to them and how to solve it. If you are looking for a book to get a better sleep, then this one is definitely for you.
